I used to focus on levelling to be able to take part in PvP, but as time passed, I slowly changed my focus to skilling, raising my non-combat skills. Then at a certain point in time till now, I decided to go the way of the all-rounded F2P player. As of now, my Ranged, Strength, Attack, Defense and Constitution are all pretty much on the same level with each other. My Magic level is still lagging behind somewhat, and a few of my non-combat skills are at the same level as my Ranged. I typically wear a witch costume, as seen below:
The weapon I wield varies depending on what I was doing at the time. In the picture above, I wielded a Rune Hatchet.
Sometimes, I don my Rune garb, to partake in PvM. Other times I might just be skilling my other skills, in my witch costume, or dressed in my Ranged armor randomly. I used to frequent the mine beneath Falador, and help out other lower levelled players by warding away nearby scorpions. I may still be seen there sometimes, and at GE, and I prefer less-populated world, due to less lag (latency).
I recently returned back to Runescape after roughly a Year of Hiatus, to find that Runescape has upgraded to Runescape 3, Random Events were gone, there is a God War called Battle of Lumbridge, and that I was apparently hacked, as most of my valuable items were gone. I am now however using the methods I know to regain the things I lost, and so far, I have "recovered" some armour and weapons, and a small amount of wealth.
I used to carry both Ranged and Melee weapons, but equipped Rune armour w/ chainbody, so as to be in a way be able to attack both up close and far away.
